Please be advised that beginning on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at 7:00 A.M., weather permitting, Lazaro Paving Corporation will be milling/grinding the existing roadway pavement on a segment of Charles Street (Main Street to Harrison Street). The milling/grinding operation is expected to take one (1) day to complete.
Delays, detours, and road closures should be expected. If you need your vehicle during this time, please be prepared for potential delays as construction is occurring. Also, all on-street parking will be prohibited and will be strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.
If work is occurring on your scheduled trash day, please have your trash and recycling at the curb no later than 6:30 A.M. to ensure pickup.
