Please be advised the Town of Reading has started to fill the Auburn Street water Tank. The initial filling of the tank will be over a period of several days. During this time the Town expects there to be discoloration in the water due to the disturbance of rust in the watermains. The water is safe to drink. Residents should limit washing light colored clothing if they experience rusty water. If you have any questions, please call the Town of Reading Water Division at 781-942-9092.
