Reading Wetlands - Water Connection Plan – Willow Street
A planned water line connection at the constructed wetlands project will require Willow Street to be shut down to allow construction to occur. Starting on Monday 10/30 and continuing until Friday 11/3 work will occur each day during the hours of 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM. During these hours Willow Street will be completely closed to traffic at the railroad track crossing. Willow Street will be open to local residents only from either side but with no traffic allowed across the railroad tracks.
Access to Austin Prep will be from the West Street end of Willow Street. A detour will reroute vehicles away from Willow Street and utilize High Street, Mineral Street and Summer Street. Work hours may need to be adjusted or extended based on unforeseen or weather conditions. We appreciate your patience as we work to get this difficult work completed as quickly as possible.
