Republic will be picking up Christmas trees curbside the week of January 12th - 16th, 2026. All decorations, including tinsel, must be removed from the trees. Trees in plastic bags or trees not completely cleaned of this material will not be picked up or accepted at the compost area.
The compost center will also be open on Saturday, January 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Christmas tree/remaining leaf drop offs. Please ensure you have your new 2026 compost permit, you may purchase online or in person at the DPW office in Town Hall.
