Please be advised that beginning on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 8:00 P.M., weather permitting, The Reading DPW will be paving a segment of Wakefield Street, from Pearl St. to Charles St. The paving schedule is from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and the work is expected to take at least a few days to complete.
Delays, detours, and road closures should be expected. If you need your vehicle during this time, please be prepared for potential delays as construction is occurring. Also, all on-street parking will be prohibited and will be strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.
