Dear Doggie Owners, be a doo-gooder and clean-up after your pooch. 

We can't believe we have to keep reminding people of this. Clean up after Fido. Cleaning-up includes both bagging the poo AND taking it home to dispose of in your trash bin. DO NOT bag it and leave it on the sidewalk, the tree lawn, throw it in a catch basin, or drop it in someone else's trash bin. Just take it home, already.

The Town has received multiple reports of excessive dog waste on Gould Street - particularly along the tree lawn across from 24 Gould St. We also have a few other areas of town, and some parks, that are frequently (ahem) be-pooed. 

Dog waste cannot be left on the ground to decompose as it is protein based and unsanitary - and it especially should not end up in our stormwater runoff.
