Eaton Lakeview Apartments 40B
The public hearing opened on Wednesday, March 7th at 7 pm in the Selectmen's Room at Town Hall.
It was continued to Wednesday, March 21st, and then postponed due to weather to Thursday, March 29th.
The hearing has been continued to Wednesday, May 2nd at 7 pm and again continued until July 18th at 7 pm, which after discussion was again continued until September 5th at 7 pm. The next continuances were held on October 24th, 2018, and December 12th, 2018, January 10th and 24th, 2019. February meetings included February 20th and February 28th. The hearing was closed at the February 28th meeting and the Board voted unanimously to approved the Decision.

On February 14, 2018, the Town staff Development Review Team (DRT) held a post-submission DRT meeting with the Applicant. Here are the notes from that meeting.
On January 9, 2018, the Town / Zoning Board of Appeals received an official application for a Comprehensive Permit under M.G.L. Chapter 40B for Eaton Lakeview Apartments. All property owners abutting the project site and within 300 feet of the project site (per the Certified Abutters List below) were sent notification of the ZBA hearing (opening March 7th at 7 pm) in the mail in February.

On October 24, 2017, MassHousing issued the Project Eligibility Letter (PEL) (PDF) for the project.
In September 2017, the Town submitted this Comment Letter (PDF) to MassHousing regarding the reduced project.
In July 2017, the Applicant modified the plans and reduced the project to 120-units.
In June 2017, the Town submitted this Comment Letter June 2017 (PDF) to MassHousing regarding the 160-unit project.[Though addressed incorrectly, this letter did make it to the correct contact person at MassHousing.]
In April 2017, Eaton Lakeview Development LLC, the proponents for a 160-unit rental project at the intersection of Eaton Street and Lakeview Avenue, submitted an Application for a Project Eligibility Letter to MassHousing.
