Moderator

Overview

The Moderator is an ex officio representative Town Meeting Member and shall preside and regulate the proceedings at all sessions of the Town Meeting. He shall have all of the powers and duties given to Moderators under the Constitution and General Laws of the Commonwealth, and such additional powers and duties as may be authorized by the Charter, by Bylaw or by other Town Meeting vote. The Town Moderator shall not simultaneously serve as an elected Town Meeting Member or in any other elected municipal office in the Town.
