Testing of Reading's water includes testing for bacteria, lead and copper, trihalomethanes, and haloacetic acid compounds.
Mandated testing is testing conducted to comply with drinking water regulations.
All of the tests are conducted by laboratories certified by the State for conducting water testing. Sampling and test procedures used also conform to State regulations and best operating practices.
Results for all testing are available on written request from the DPW office.
